Primate Panic Cinema Work in Progress

Hey what's up? I know it's been a long time since I rapped at ya, but I've been crazy busy finishing up all the art work for Primate Panic. We've just got a few loose ends to tie up, and it should be done by the end of August.

In the meantime, I thought I'd show off a Cinematic image I've been working on today. It illustrates one of the first scenes, where the characters get washed up on the island.

To make this scene, first I blocked in the basic layout and sent it to our character artist, Janelle Carpenter. She illustrated the characters in photoshop. Then I printed out a copy of our handy Primate Panic background template, and I sketched the background in detail. I scanned this, then painted it in photoshop. You can still see some of the pencil lines if you look closely, but that will all be gone in the final version.

Cinema creation has been a challenging, lengthy process. I've never really attempted to create this amount of game art at this resolution and quality. Keep your fingers crossed that we can pull it all off!
